The Drama Geezers
We create playful, powerful story experiences that invite children – and especially men – to embrace imagination, laughter, and connection. The Story Dads, is a dedicated session for male caregivers and their young children.
These workshops are all about telling stories, acting them out together, and building bonds through creativity and fun.
It’s a fun space where dads, grandads, uncles, and male carers can connect with their little ones, spark imagination, and share the magic of stories.
Just as importantly, these sessions support men’s mental health and wellbeing. They offer a relaxed, welcoming environment where men can be present, playful, and emotionally connected – something that is often missing in everyday life. By creating space for laughter, creativity, and shared experiences, Story Dads helps reduce isolation, build confidence, and strengthen a sense of belonging among male caregivers.
Why it matters:
When fathers and male role models play and read with children, especially in the early years, it has a powerful impact. Research shows that children benefit enormously from seeing men engage with books and storytelling, it boosts their language development, strengthens emotional bonds, and positively influences attitudes toward reading.
Boys in particular are more likely to develop a love of stories when they see men enjoying them too.
This isn’t just about literacy, it’s about connection, confidence, and creating memories through shared imagination.
Whether you're a school, theatre, community organisation, or curious parent, we’d love to bring the Drama Geezers magic to you and your little ones.
A space for dads to play and bond with their children through story - because every story is better when told together
WE ARE MEN THAT PLAY
The Drama Geezers are redefining what it means to be a man through the power of story and play.
They believe that true strength lies in embracing imagination, laughter, and storytelling and they’re on a mission to inspire more men to do the same.
As fathers and creatives, they’ve seen firsthand how play can shape children’s confidence, curiosity, and joy. Now, they’re dedicated to helping more men step into that role: to play, to create, and to connect. The Drama Geezers invite men everywhere to join them in proudly becoming “Men That Play”
